About the event
The term #PsychologicalSafety is increasingly popular in HR and career rhetoric these days, and on the surface, it sounds like a good and right thing to have at work.
Just like #DEI (diversity, equity, inclusion).
But as a recovering HR pro and corporate executive, I’ve seen that even the kindest, best intentioned manager can’t make the workplace 100% psychologically safe.
❌ Because the SYSTEM was never designed to be #safe for employees.
💰 It was designed to safeGUARD company profit and production.
And when I was an employee, nothing had prepared me for the psychological hazards and cognitive dissonance that come with any job.
