Is it easier for you to believe you’re worthy, or to believe you’re guilty?

Are you more likely to see many options, or to see many obstacles?

Are you encouraged to reach your highest potential, or are you warned to avoid the risks?

Are you living the life that pleases you, or a life that pleases others?

If you’re like most racialized diaspora women, you answered "no" to the first half of each question.

The good news is, you're not alone. The bad news is, you're not alone.

The fact is, systemic inequity (racism, patriarchy, colonialism, wealth gap) infects not only our society and workplaces, but also our mindsets and beliefs. This makes it extra challenging for women who identify as racialized (i.e. Indigenous, Black, Brown, Asian (South, Southeast, East, etc.), Latina, Arab, Mixed Race, and anything other than white/Caucasian) to be 100% authentic and accepted.

So when I discovered a way to break free from this invisible prison, I had to share this with as many women as possible.

Free Your Mind is a mental "detox" and coaching program for racialized working women.

This is Un-Executive Coaching™ for women who want to be more effective, not more executive.

What Do You Mean By "Break Free" and "Invisible Prison"?

Watch this short video for a brief explainer:

What's It Like To Free Your Mind?

Here’s how previous participants described it:

What Will You Learn?

We pair an equity lens of anti-racism and anti-patriarchy with the neuroscience and psychology of Positive Intelligence® ("PQ") to help you:

  • Identify the underlying fears and negative voices that keep you down (your "Saboteurs")

  • Recognize the Saboteur lies that limit your true strength and self-worth while convincing you they're helping you succeed and fit in

  • Develop new habits and grow your brain "muscles" to shift from Saboteur to "Sage" (your positive self)

  • Strengthen your resilience and mental fitness to tackle challenges, both personal, professional, and societal

You'll also benefit from:

  • A curated, intimate community of relatable women to encourage each other with confidential sharing and gentle accountability

  • Small group size: there will be no more than 5 people in the group, to ensure your voice is heard and discussion is meaningful

  • Access to the PQ App for a full year (even after the detox ends)

  • Empowerment through self-acceptance and recognition of your value and worth

  • A constant cheerleader who believes in you and supports you without judgment!

How Does it Work? What's the Time Commitment?

Over the 8-week mental detox, you will:

  • Receive live weekly group coaching from Rosie via Zoom every Monday from 12:00 - 1:00 EST (or Tuesday if Monday is a holiday)

  • Learn PQ techniques through one-hour training videos which dive deep into the week's mental exercises

  • Accelerate your growth through daily practice of these exercises, just a few minutes at a time, dispersed throughout the day

  • Supplement your learning with free access to the New York Times bestselling book, Positive Intelligence, by founder Shirzad Chamine

  • Debrief insights, share challenges, and receive support from fellow group members

  • The total time commitment for all of the above is about 4 hours a week, spread out during the week

  • Weekly videos are released each Saturday to be watched over the weekend

  • Everything except live group coaching can be done asynchronously (on your own time)

  • To maintain safety and confidentiality of group coaching, sessions will not be recorded
Does It Really Help?

I can tell you that it has helped me a LOT. Besides my bi-cultural inner conflicts and internalized racism, I also have clinical depression and anxiety, have undergone psychotherapy, and continue to use prescription medication to manage symptoms. I've also trained with multiple coaching programs, and this is the only one I believe in and recommend. That's why I'm passionate about offering this to you, because:

a) I've seen it work for me and other racialized women; and

b) traditional "executive coaching" and life coaching programs are based on methodologies created by white men, steeped in patriarchy and ideologies I disagree with.

I asked some former coachees to share their experiences so you can hear directly from them:

Rosie’s group coaching program challenged me to reflect on how I respond when faced with personal and professional stressors. I was empowered to not only identify my patterns of self-sabotage, but also build my mental fitness to break these patterns. The weekly Pod discussions motivated me to be accountable to complete the program exercises. I valued that all members of my Pod group (as well as Rosie) were women of colour – this is something I’ve never had access to in other programs I’ve attended, and fostered a sense of community and safety when sharing personal struggles and accomplishments. I highly recommend this program!

Why I Care
05 - Rosie standing wall.jpg

Hi. 👋🏼 I’m Rosie Yeung. I'm a Trauma-Informed Positive Intelligence Coach and nonviolent JEDI Warrior (JEDI = Justice, Equity, Decolonization and Inclusion). I designed this small group coaching program to help racialized diaspora women build strength and resilience by breaking free of self-judgment and societal norms. Why do we need to break free? Because self-judgment and societal norms are what got us here - and here is not where we want to be, am I right?!

I've experienced this first hand as a Hong Kong-born, Canadian-raised, cis-gendered single woman who’s spent my whole life trying to meet other people’s standards instead of figuring out what I want. I found freedom through mindset change and positive psychology, and now I’m offering this culturally relevant "mental detox” to help racialized women find their freedom.

I’m also a Certified HR Leader and Chartered Professional Accountant, with over 20 years of corporate executive experience. I leverage all my skills and experiences – my whole self – to help you Change Your Lens, Free Your Mind, and Be Your Self. You can find more details on my career and professional training in my LinkedIn profile.
